La fascinación por el color y las texturas han motivado mi necesidad de plasmar en papel, tabla  o lienzo aquello que llama mi atención, en un intento de capturar esa belleza efímera y mostrarla a través de mi interpretación.

De ahí que mi pintura no se encasille en un figuración o abstracto, retrato o paisaje, sino que trascienda a estilos y temáticas, centrándose en transmitir una mirada, un movimiento, una escena que quiero inmortalizar de algún modo.

The simplicity of oriental art and, in particular, Japanese art, together with my fascination for Japanese prints from the 17th to 19th centuries, is evident in much of my work, in the "Japan & Nature" series.

Nature in its pure state, with its lights and shadows, also inspires many of my works, both in the landscape and abstract series.

The portrait, both in oil and graphite, is a great challenge, because I intend to reflect more than an image, the personality of the model.
